1. Chopsticks Restaurant
This restaurant specializes in Chinese and Tibetan cuisine with the taste best in town at very affordable prices, that too with great ambience, hygiene and service. The staff here is really very good.
What I ate: Thenthuk (A Tibetan Noodle Soup)
Food: 4.5/5
Ambience: 4/5

2. Cafe 1986
This particular cafe is famous for its very own Wood Oven Pizzas which are really very good in taste. You can also try other continental food options like Pasta, burgers and much more but my suggestion is that you go for their specially baked Pizzas.

Ambience and live music: 4/5

3. The Johnson's Hotel, Cafe & Bar
This is located at a distance of about 200 metres from the Mall Road towards the Circuit House Road, Siyal. They specialize in Drinks and beverages, food options here are not much to choose from and are quite expensive as compared to other cafes in Manali. Also the food presentation and taste is not as expected according to their cost. But it is the best in ambience and live music.

4. Aashiana Restaurant (100% Pure Veg)
Here you will get best options for North Indian, Punjabi and Jain food. Must tries are Daal Makhani, Paneer Butter Masala, Paneer Lababdar and Pav Bhaji. Their Sirke wali Pyaaz adds up to the taste which you will not get at many other restaurants in Manali. They are among the ones open till midnight.

5. Jai Siddu & Momos Point
Its not a cafe nor a restaurant but just a road side food joint. Here they serve Siddu (Walnut, Paneer & Chicken), Momos (Veg & Chicken), Laphing / Laping (Paneer & Soya) and Hot Coffee. I tried all the veg options here and now I can say that their Siddu & Coffee are the only things that you should try. Laphing is bad, momos are below average.
Food: 3.9/5 (for Siddu)

6. Balaji Restaurant
This restaurant is adjacent to the Aashiana Restaurant and serves the same menu as the latter does but if it comes to comparison between the two, I'll definitely choose Aashiana.

Note: Don't try sweets at Mall Road or you will end up disturbing your taste buds.
