Cloudy, but a good morning to fly the Da40 NG from KCHS to KJZI

A short flight from Charleston International Airport (KCHS) to Charleston Executive Airport (KJZI) on Johns Island South Carolina. Departed on RWY 33, then instructed to turn left to a heading of 280 degrees. A short moment later I was cleared direct to KJZI. After having the airport in sight, ATC cleared me to switch to KJZI advisory channel. Aircrafts were departing KJZI as I was approaching their airspace. Pattern altitude at KJZI is 1019 feet. I crossed center midfield at 1900 making a right teardrop to a 45 degrees entry for a left downwind pattern for RWY 27. Crossing over the Stono River which separate Johns and James Island SC, making a left base and final to RWY 27. First landing was to a full stop, taxi back. The second landing was a touch and go. After taking off the second time, on departure, I turned left towards Folly Beach and the coastline before contacting Charleston Approach Controllers. I was cleared to entered controlled airspace “Class Charlie” into KCHS.
