Siroko all-round slope glider

Описание к видео Siroko all-round slope glider

The Siroko is a elegant and performant all-round slope glider with true aerobatics DNA. With a wingspan of 2.75 m, the Siroko is fully molded and uses the TP66/66s airfoils combination applied on an elliptical lift distribution wing planform.

The TP66/TP66s combination optimizes speed gains and the glider's ability to retain its energy in aerobatic figures, therefore better speed gains, better max speed and better restitutions in normal
flight as well as in inverted flight. Thanks to the choice of this section, ailerons drag is also lower, hence, again, less energy lost during rolls. It thus becomes possible to fly in light air even more
efficiently with less altitude gain and better energy saving. The TP66s is the wingtip section associated with the TP66 in order to increase the liveliness of stall rolls. The TP66/TP66s combination meets both the requirements of VTPR aerobatics (energy conservation on low wing loading gliders) and the requirements of “high ballistic aerobatics” (better max speed and better speed retention) at higher wing loading.

The Siroko is the result of a collaboration between Pierre Rondel as the designer and Miroslav Laurenčík for the 3D design, mold making and model manufacturing.
