I made this using Ableton Live's vocoder, a piano synth and the gTar by Incident Technologies. The vocoder takes what I speak into the mic and applies the "words" to the synthesizer, which I am playing on the gtar.

The gTar is both a fully capable guitar USB/MIDI interface that can control any synth, and a next generation teaching tool designed to make learning the guitar more fun and less painful. It has an iphone dock for using their Guitar Hero-like teaching program, and multicolored LEDs to indicate finger position.
