All of Boom Boom's voice clips from Mario and Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, provided by Lani Minella and reused from Super Mario 3D Land. Boom Boom appears as an additional teammate for the Mario characters in the Rugby event, notably wearing a rugby helmet to go along with his increased role. TBH, Boom Boom is one of those characters that I have mixed feelings on; while he has more or less become a recurring enemy since his return to the series in 3D Land, he wasn't exactly the most major of enemies in his debut game, Super Mario Bros. 3, in stark contrast to the Koopalings who were amongst the main antagonists of that game and Super Mario World as well prior to returning in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. In any case, I decided to upload his voice clips for the sake of consistency and archival purposes more than anything else. Credit goes to PKSmashBros for his render that I used.
