Titanic: Before and After - Stern - Upper Decks (English)

Have you ever asked yourself how were the inside areas of the Titanic in 1912 and how they are now after its sinking? In this series, as a tribute to the Ship of Dreams, we have proposed to make the comparison about the ship in the past and in the present. For that, we used two video games or simulations, Titanic: Honor and Glory and Titanic Ship Wreck Simulation. It would have been a pleasure to use real images, but there exists barely pictures about the intern rooms of the steamer and the expeditions to wreck are also limited. For this reason, and due to in this channel we are dedicated to the video games, we did this titanic exercise to compare both and deep inside the Titanic to be able to see the ravages of time in all the halls, rooms and places available in the ship. Note that some places can not be visited because they are not implemented in the simulations yet or due to they were destroyed or were blocked during the sinking. We have to indicate also that both video games were done by different companies and in different years, so there are discrepancies between them. However, we tried to minimize them in order to ensure the comparisons and transitions are as fluid as possible. We hope you enjoy.

We leave behind the Bow to visit Titanic's Stern. Unfortunately for all, when the ship broke in half some of the areas in the stern were destroyed. Moreover, due to this ship section was not flooded, the air inside it imploded while sinking shattering it even more. We will start inspecting the upper decks belonging to 1st and 2nd Class where there are still some recognizable places, like the Smoke Rooms, the Verandah Cafe and the promenades.
