One of the nicest UK model shows of the year, the South Cheshire Military Modelling Club's (Crewe IPMS) brilliantly organised Model Militaire AKA Universal Model show.
I recently joined this club and also helped with some of the prep, organisation & clear up, almost all of which is done by the hardworking members of the club every year. The Malbank school in Nantwich (Cheshire) has to be converted into an exhibition venue then returned to be ready to school use in the immediate aftermath of the show closing, -no small feat! 😲

It always produces a nice friendly show with low entry fees, manageable size to walk around, great exhibits and good facilities...It was also great to meet Spencer Pollard, Nathan Robinson, David Draycott and many others!

Can't wait for next year now! 😃

PS The first models seen are a few of my own work on the SCMMC display too.

Also thanks to friend David who helped us with the clear-up despite being a paying visitor. 👍

...And finally apologies to all the lovely models I didn't photograph, this is by no means a snub of anybody else's work, so little time, so many lovely models! Standard was super high this year!
