How to Stop Mini PC Overheating & Restarting: Expert Fixes and Solutions!

In this episode, we're tackling the common issue of overheating and constant restarts for the fanless mini PC.

Join us as we delve into the internals, meticulously removing the back cover, Wi-Fi antenna, and troublesome screws to inspect the motherboard for damage. With careful disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly, we address the root cause of overheating: excess thermal paste.

Our expert process includes cleaning the processor and fanless CPU cooler block with isopropyl alcohol and a keyboard vacuum cleaner. We also remove and clean the RAM plates, PC-e wireless adaptor, and NVME SSD memory plate, ensuring a thorough fix.

After discovering that Windows 10 exacerbated the issue, we opted for a lighter Windows 7 installation, better suited to the hardware specs.

Finally, we ensure all components are securely reattached and deliver the good news: the mini PC is now running smoothly without overheating or constant restarts!
