Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday accused the BJP of revenge politics and called the MUDA land scam case a "sham" after the High Court dismissed his plea that challenged the Governor's approval for an investigation against him.

The High Court's judgment has led to calls for Siddaramaiah's resignation from the BJP.

Responding to the controversy, Siddaramaiah alleged that the BJP-ruled Centre was hatching a conspiracy to punish governments in Opposition-ruled states by misusing Raj Bhavan.
