Last week I spoke on zoom with Oxford Professor Alexander Betts about how the UNHCR and the global refugee system can adapt to incorporate the realities of climate migrations and state fragility, which are currently two of the biggest drivers of displacement. We also discussed his book, Survival Migration, and the impacts of Covid-19 on the most vulnerable communities.
