Sheaffer Pens During WWII: Short Film from 1943

Описание к видео Sheaffer Pens During WWII: Short Film from 1943

A short Jam Handy Productions film, most likely made as a training film for their salespeople, where Sheaffer Pens explains what they're doing for the war effort and why the supply of pens they produce is small. It's interesting to see what kinds of components they were making, and how the industrial output was changed from pens to things like frequency tuners for aircraft.

The film also includes some great footage about the Triumph nib, Scrip, and other fountain pen stuff for those interested in fountain pens and their history. You even get to see and hear the original Mr. W. A. Sheaffer and his son Craig Sheaffer.

The video is from a VHS tape. I don't remember where I got the original but it was at least 12 years ago. The quality is not great, but it's still fun to watch.
