Cappadocia and Uchisar Castle, Tuz Gölü (salt lake) and Kaymakli underground city in Turkey

This is the first time WE HAVE VISITED Uchisar Castle, Kaymakli Underground City in the Cappadocia region and Tuz Gölü (Salt Lake).

We went to Cappadocia by car from Pammukale. The trip took us approximately 10-11 hours with breaks. We stopped at Tuz Gölü salt lake. We were tired from the trip but we were lucky and there was water in the lake, as it is not always there.

During our stay in Göreme, we visited Uchisar Castle. On the circular hike to the castle and back, we saw various stone formations and dwellings carved into them. Milan also visited the mysterious underground city of Kaymakli. In the evening, we had a beautiful sunset over the city.
