1. Fir‘aun (Pharaoh of Musa عليه السلام)

One of the worst tyrants in history. He enslaved Bani Isra’il, claimed divinity (“I am your Lord, Most High” – 79:24), and tried to kill Musa. Allah drowned him in the sea, but preserved his body as a sign for future generations (10:92).

2- Hāmān

The minister of Fir‘aun, symbol of corrupt advisors who support tyrants. Qur’an mentions him alongside Fir‘aun and Qarun (28:6). He helped Fir‘aun build his empire and opposed Musa.

3- Qarun (Korah)

A man from the people of Musa who was given immense wealth but became arrogant. Instead of using it for Allah’s cause, he rebelled. He claimed his wealth was due to his own knowledge. Allah caused the earth to swallow him and his treasures (28:79–82).

4- Nimrūd (Nimrod)

A king in the time of Ibrahim عليه السلام who claimed to control life and death. He argued with Ibrahim (2:258) and threw him into a huge fire, but Allah made it cool and safe. He represents kings who arrogantly fight Allah’s messengers.

5- Abraha al-Ashram (Pre-Islam, 570 CE)
Abyssinian Christian ruler of Yemen, marched with an army of elephants to destroy the Ka‘bah. Allah destroyed him and his army with birds carrying stones. (Surah Al-Fīl 105:1–5)
