This IAS officer was so honest that almost every politician hated him.

His name is Ashok Khemka.

He became an IAS officer in Haryana in the 1990s and throughout his career, he repeatedly raised his voice against corruption.

Because of this, he was transferred almost every 6–7 months.

In 2012, he even canceled a 3.5-acre land deal linked to DLF and Robert Vadra, the son-in-law of Sonia Gandhi.

He also exposed irregularities in the recruitment process of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission.

Between 2004 and 2014, during the Congress government, he was transferred more than 21 times.

But even under the BJP government after 2014, the transfers didn’t stop — in just the first 5 years, he was transferred 7 times.

He was often sent to departments where there were no chances of promotion.

Yet, Ashok Khemka continued doing his duty with integrity.

Finally, in December 2024, he received a good posting as the Additional Chief Secretary in the Transport Department.

After being transferred 57 times in his career, he finally retired from the same department in April 2025.
