PROJECT STEPS
1. As a content developer for Blue Sky Business Mentors, you develop educational materials to help small business owners grow their businesses. As part of a series of small business step-by-step guides, you've created a presentation that summarizes a guide to exporting for small business owners interested in expanding their operations to international markets.
Begin by resizing the slides in the presentation to Widescreen.
2. On the Title Slide, reply to the comment with the text Done! and then close the Comments pane.
3. Find the text "Set" and replace it with Establish.
4. Switch to Slide Sorter View, and work with sections in the presentation as follows:
a. Add a section between Slides 1 and 2 of the presentation and rename the new section Steps 4 to 6.
b. Change the name of the section called "Untitled Section" to Steps 1 to 3.
c. Collapse all the sections and then change the order of the sections as follows:
Default Section
Overview
Steps 1 to 3
Steps 4 to 6
End
d. Return to Normal View.
5. Display the Comments pane, and then modify comments in the presentation as follows:
a. On Slide 2 ("Why Export?"), insert a comment with the text This picture is perfect!
b. Edit the comment on Slide 5 ("Step 3: Identify Your Target Market") by replacing "organizations" with associations.
c. Delete the comment on Slide 7 ("Step 5: Build Engaging Content").
d. Close the Comments pane.
6. On Slide 2 ("Why Export?"), enhance the picture as follows:
a. Change the height to 3".
b. Apply a Dark Blue, Accent 1 picture border with a 3 point border weight.
c. Apply the Film Grain artistic effect.
d. Add the alt text in the Description box: A collection of colorful shipping containers against a blue sky with clouds.
e. Turn on Smart Guides and position the picture as shown in Figure 1.

7. With Slide 2 ("Why Export?") still displaying, modify the bullet symbol as follows:
a. Change the bullet to the checkmark symbol for all five bullets.
b. Change the color of the checkmark bullet symbol to Dark Blue, Accent 1.
c. Change the line spacing of the bullet points to 1.5.
8. On Slide 3 ("Step 1: Assess Your Export Potential"), change the list numbering style to 1. 2. 3. (Row 1, Column 2).
9. On Slide 4 ("Step 2: Develop Your Export Plan"), format the bulleted text in two columns and modify by changing the spacing between the two columns to 1".
10. On Slide 5 ("Step 3: Identify Your Target Market"), use Format Painter to match the formatting of "Market Research" to the "Resources" text.
11. With Slide 5 ("Step 3: Identify Your Target Market") still displaying, open the Animation Pane and animate the two text boxes as follows:
a. Animate the Market Research text box using the Bounce Left motion path. [Mac Hint: Under Path Animations you can locate the Bounce motion, then click Effect Options and locate Left.]
b. Add the Applause sound to the animation applied to the Market Research text box.
c. Use the Animation Painter to apply the same animation options to the Resources text box.
d. Change the order of the animations so that the Resources text box is animated before the Market Research text box.
12. On Slide 6 ("Step 4: Develop Your Export Market Strategy"), open the animation pane if necessary and modify the animation applied to the coins as follows:
a. Change the direction of the Wipe animation so that the picture wipes from the top of picture to the bottom.
b. Remove the Grow-Shrink animation.
c. Add the Spin Emphasis animation. [Mac Hint: Emphasis Effects, Basic, Spin.]
13. On Slide 7 ("Step 5: Build Engaging Content"), modify the bullets as follows:
a. Change the bullet for "Understand market entry strategies" to a picture using Support_PPT365_5A_Earth.png.
b. Change the size of the bullet to 150% of text.
