Samsung 970 Evo Plus 500GB for Lenovo IdeapadGaming 3 15ARH05 (2020) Ryzen 7 4800H. Alhamdullillah, I replaced my SK Hynix (2300 R/1000 W) with Samsung 970 Evo Plus (3500 R / 3200 W). Samsung 970 is the fastest PCIe Gen 3 that I could find at Brem Mall, Jalan Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. I got it for RM263 plus RM20 installation fee. I have installed apps without any issues so far. However, it is still too early to say about this Samsung 970 500GB SSD. I tried using Adata XPG SX8200 Pro 2TB, but it died within 1 week. I will give my feedback about Samsung 970 in the comment box after 1 month.

My old Lenovo IdeapadGaming3 Ryzen 7 4800h only supports gen 3 nvme (up to 500GB). After I bought this Samsung 970 Evo Plus nvme ssd, opening and using heavy apps like Photoshop and Powerdirector are so much faster and smoother than SK Hynix (2200 read and write 1000), even though my laptop has already got 48GB of DDR4 (Kingston Fury) RAM.
