4 His First Business was a Hedge Fund he started in 2013 to 2018. It was called Hudson Ridge Asset Management, a natural gas hedge fund.
5 Transformation One , From Energy Trader to Crypto Infrastructure. The year was 2017, Michael Intrator, Brian Venturo and Brannin McBee founded Atlantic Crypto, focusing on GPU-based crypto mining. More specifically, they were mining Ethereum.
6 Transformation Two, from Crypto Infrastructure to AI Cloud. The 3 natural gas trader cleverly rebranded Atlantic Crypto as CoreWeave in 2019. Now it is GPU-based AI Cloud business.
7 Making Key Alliance OpenAI and Nvidia. Michael Intrator was a visionary and shrew negotiator. He made key alliances on GPU-based Cloud with OpenAI (we have testimony from Robert Altman) and then with Nvidia the chip maker.
8 The AI Hyperscaler or AI Cloud. Mike Intrator defines his company Coreweave as an AI Hyperscaler. A Hyperscaler is a very large cloud company that builds and runs massive data centers to deliver artificial intelligence (AI) computing power at scale.
9 He is part of the AI Gold Rush. Coreweave IPO on March 28th, 2025. And has since minted 4 multi-billionaires: Michael Intrator, Brian Venturo, Brannin McBee and also Jack Cogen.
