5. Mi-38
Russia's Mi-38 is intended to replace the Mi-8 and Mi-6. The first prototype appeared in 2003. Engineers at the Moscow Helicopter Plant designed the Mi-38 as a multipurpose helicopter that could be used for both transport and rescue operations.
