RB44 Reynolds Boughton 4x4 TUH Production Video Cir 1988 -90 (Dodge 50)

Renault Truck Ind. Inhouse video production cir 1988/89.
Offroad test sections were filmed in around 1988 using a modified 1985 Mk1 dodge 50, there were five known pre production vehicles, one has been up for sale on ebay during 2015 the production sections were filmed in 1989 at the Renault VI Dunstable Plant where the RB44's were put together with Boughton Running Gear.

MOD spec Reynolds Boughton 4x4 conversion built on a Modified Renault Dodge 50 series 5,600kgs chassis with a Perkins phaser 110 Turbo engine. Dana front and rear axles, Spicer T-290 gearbox, Cab pretty much like any other dodge 50.

846 vehicles were ordered by the MOD for use by the Army, Navy, and the RAF. About 100 have been buried in Iraq, 150 sold on to the public and the remainder are still in service.

Update May 2012 all remaining reserve & in service vehicles are now being released to public tender.

Update Feb 2015 vehicles still being released and sold in tender auctions and also cash sales, some with only 2750 miles on the clock.
Some have had parts taken off so incomplete others are brilliant solid examples, prices ranging from approx £2500 - £10,000 plus VAT @ 20%
