H.R. Giger's Dark Seed | 1080p60 | Longplay Full Game Walkthrough No Commentary Horror Adventure

Full Game longplay of Dark Seed I, game based on HR Giger's phenomenal art, created with his direct input in mind. It was released for DOS, Windows and Amiga computers back all the way on 1992, a few years later for Ps1 and Sega Saturn consoles, although with full japanese subtitles, and english dubbing, NTSC-J region only.

Mike Dawson is a successful advertising executive and writer who has recently bought an old mansion on Ventura Drive (named after Ventura Boulevard) in the small town of Woodland Hills. On his first night at the house, Mike has a nightmare about being imprisoned by a machine that shoots an alien embryo into his brain. He wakes up with a large headache and, after taking a painkiller and a shower, explores the mansion. He finds clues about the previous owner's death, which reveal the existence of a parallel universe called the Dark World ruled by sinister aliens called the Ancients.

I guess this is one of the only few games based on HR Giger's work, and although it's pretty short amd simple, it's very fascinating and intruiging for 1992. Also, you had 3 hours real time to complete the game, as one hour irl is one day in the game, and you can miss important events and softlock your game very easily! A must see to comprehend the story in Dark Seed II, it's much bigger brother sequel. Both very interesting adventure games, both probably earliest point'click horror adventure games on personal computers!
