The Legend of Tembo - Butu v Hippo - Storyboard Animatic

The Legend of Tembo was to be a CG animated feature directed by Aaron Blaise about an African elephant that is taken by traders to India to be used as a weapon of war.
The film was cancelled after it ran into financial trouble mid-way in its production.
This a storyboard from the film -Young Butu is hanging out with his buddies but gets into trouble with a hippo at the river's edge. Tembo has a plan to help his brother despite the fact he's a quarter of the size of the hippo.
The story panels were produced during the production of the film but the animatic was put together in 2021 using scratch voiceover, temp music and sfx.
