Good Morning America's trip to Hollywood continues, this time on the set of Dynasty. Beginning a couple minutes into the newscast, we begin with the news with Jed Duvall, featuring stories about the America's Cup, demonstrations in Beirut, a vigil for Liberace, AIDS blood testing issues, an economic report, and a retirement home for the Reagans. Then, after the first look at the weather with Spencer Christian, more on America's Cup and the argument on colorizing old monochorme films. After turning to WPVI for a Philly-area newsbreak, we return for the next half hour with another news and weather segment, a quick history of Warner Bros, and an interview with John Forsyth and Linda Evans.
In the second hour, after another news segment, we meet Spencer Christian in Dynasty's dining room for the next weather report, followed by a report on minorities in showbiz, along with interviews with Dynasty's Michael Nader, Jack Coleman, Gordon Thompson, Heather Locklear, and Christopher Cazenove. In the last half hour, after one final look at the headlines, Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Issue cover model Elle MacPherson, Whoopi Goldberg, and some animal stars with Chantal.
