In the space and science section, the lecture discusses ISRO’s launch of the BlueBird Block-2 commercial communication satellite, owned by AST SpaceMobile of the United States. The satellite is launched using LVM3-M6 from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, showcasing India’s growing role in commercial space launches and global satellite deployment services.

The session further covers the NSSH Scheme, which empowers SC/ST entrepreneurs through skill development, financial assistance, and mandatory 4% government procurement via the GeM portal. Implemented under the Ministry of MSME, the scheme promotes inclusive growth, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment through institutional support.


Defence current affairs are strengthened with the discussion on INS Anjadip, the third Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft (ASW-SWC) inducted into the Indian Navy. Built indigenously by GRSE and L&T under the Public-Private Partnership model, the vessel is equipped with advanced sonar systems, torpedoes, and anti-submarine rockets, highlighting India’s progress in indigenous naval shipbuilding.
