Human Rights Watch report 2019: A brighter future for human rights? | DW News

In their 2019 world report, the NGO Human Rights Watch concludes that human rights abusers are facing growing resistance - despite continued rights violations around the world. The report was presented in Berlin, marking the start of Germany's two-year tenure on the UN Security Council. The monitoring group also acknowledged Germany's increasing leadership on human rights issues around the world.
