চাঁদা হাটির আশে পাশে বহু বড় বড় বিল আছে আজ বহুকাল, কিন্তু গরম পড়লেই সে বিলের জল শুকিয়ে যায়ে। যার কারণে এলাকার গরিব জেলে রা খুব সমস্যা তে পড়ে, সেই কারণে ঝিলের গভীরতা বাড়ানোর উদ্যোগ নিয়েছে সরকার। এই কাজ চলছে দিন রাত, এমনি এক দিনে হটাত এক শ্রমিক মাটি কাটতে গিয়ে খুঁজে পায়ে এমন এক জিনিস, যার কেউ কল্পনাও করতে পারতে না। আর তারপর থেকেই ঘটতে শুরু করে একের পর এক অজানা হাড় হিম করা ঘটনা। এবং রহস্যের গোঁড়ায় ধোঁয়া দিতে উঠে আশে গ্রাম বাংলার এমন এক জীবের কথা, যার নাম শুনলেও গ্রামের লোকের গায়ে কাঁটা দায়ে। রহস্যের জট ছাড়াতে দেখুন আজকের গ্রাম বাংলার হাড় হিম করা গল্প " বন কলমি বিলের ভয় "।
