Thanks to Ronald NX6T for the quick QSO. Sorry for not correctly saying your calls on the video. I had you written right, it was late and my mind was a bit tired. Sorry my friend. Thanks as well to Charles (K9RM) for the copy in WAS Net. Sorry I said “Ohio” I remembered you were in Indiana after the video. Thanks for picking up my “break”

My review of the MFJ 1788 magnetic transmit and receive loop antenna on 40 m.

This review shows flat 1:1 SWR tuning from the bottom of 40 m all the way to the top of arguably the most popular QSO band in ham radio.

Plus a couple of live QSO’s back to back using the antenna after the SWR check. When you’re doing live video, it’s hard to guarantee one QSO let alone two in a row. But that’s just how good I’ve found the MFJ 1788 to be.

Very reliable, well built and a SOLID 1:1 SWR over the entire 40m band!

This is a great antenna for people who are space restricted, have HOA limitations or who just want a GREAT QUIET RECEIVE ANTENNA that also LETS YOU TRANSMIT UP TO 150 watts! It’s a great antenna for DXpeditions and Field Day too!

It can be set up and put on the air within only a minute or so. You’ll spend more time deciding where to place it than putting it up and using it.

MFJ can provide you everything from amplifiers to antenna tuner‘s from antennas to noise cancelers.
