How to: Best Sweet Potato Pie Recipe Old Fashion Southern-Style

Hey hey hey good people. So this is my all-time favorite dessert. Delicious sweet potato pie. This is a true southern classic. My grandmother made these for us when I was a child; those are my fondest memories. It's super easy to make and ooh so delicious. Try this recipe for your family and let me know how it comes out!

Ingredients to make 1 9-inch regular pie - the video is a little different because it is for a deep dish
1 frozen pie crust or 1 homemade crust
2 large sweet potatoes
2 eggs
4 tbsp butter, melted
½ cup white sugar
¼ cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
1 tsp of vanilla
¼ tsp of salt
½ cup evaporated milk

Preparation
1. Set oven to 350.
2. Bake sweet potatoes until soft.
3. Mash soft sweet potatoes into a bowl.
4. Add all ingredients and mix well.
5. Use an electric blender to mix for 3 minutes so
there are no strings.
6. Prepare crust by baking until light brown.
7. Once cooled add sweet potato mixture.
8. Bake pie in oven for 45 min or until the sides
starts to crack.
9. Remove from oven and let cool before
serving.
