Exploring Nohkalikai Falls | MEGHALAYA

Nohkalikai Falls is the tallest plunge waterfall in India. Its height is 1115 feet. The waterfall is located in Cherrapunjee. To reach the head of Nohkalikai Falls you need to Trek for about 20 mins with the help of the local guides. It usually opens from the month of October till end of March if you want to explore. Nokalikai Falls are fed by the rainwater collected on the summit of a comparatively small plateau and decrease in power during the dry season in December - February. Below the falls there has formed a plunge pool with unusual green colored water.
