In the freezing darkness between jagged mountain ridges and deep valleys, isolated German units struggle to break out of the tightening Soviet encirclement.
Snow, wind, and the shifting shadows of the mountains turn every movement into a battle for survival.
Soviet infantry pursue them through forests, mountain slopes, and narrow passes — attacking, withdrawing, then reappearing again inside the blizzard.

This film has no heroes.
No speeches.
No victory.

Only cold, steel, the breath of exhausted soldiers, and the bare mechanics of mountain warfare on the Eastern Front.
