In today’s study, we continue with God’s condemnation of Judah, and the foretelling of the destruction of Jerusalem, and conclude with a prophecy that a man in rage will come to tell Elijah that the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple is complete. God uses especially harsh language on what Israel and Judah did when worshiping idols and seeking help from other nations instead of turning to Him for help. It is also a warning to any nation (or person) that anyone who puts their trust in anyone other than Him is futile.
