Hi everybody, and welcome to my "stevenofpa" YouTube Channel!

This video shows you what it's like to see this SEPTA train crossing (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority) which crosses over a community walking trail (called the Liberty Trail) in Lansdale, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania Penn Pennsy Penna PA.

At this crossing there is an announcement loudspeaker that lets you know if a train is coming. But in this case, you can clearly see very far down the tracks in each direction, and there is NO train coming in either direction. Yet the announcement is still going! So, perhaps there is a stuck switch, or maybe someone has turned on the warning sound and has not turned it off? Maybe it's in testing mode? Not sure, but it would be nice if SEPTA would fix this because it's loud and annoying for those close by to it. Thanks!

This is a beautiful rail crossing, so if you're ever in the area you may want to stop and check it out! It's like a miniature train crossing like you'd find at a public street! There is a standard railroad crossing sign on each side, there is a warning sign which says "ACTIVE TRACKS LOOK BOTH WAYS BEFORE CROSSING" there are no barrier arms that come down, but there are WALK and DON'T WALK electric lighted signs which are pretty cool. This crossing was built about 1 or 2 years ago so it's all still really new and it looks great!
