1992 saw the invention of Elesgo - our process for applying decorative layers to a substrate to create perfect surfaces for your products.

Electron Beam Curing :
Just one year later, in 1993, we were able to put our first own ESH system into operation at the Oberhausen site. This was the starting shot for surface production. Our customers in the laminate flooring industry were supplied with the first Elesgo products.
1993
DTS System Surfaces GmbH :
Wilhelm Taubert and Dirk Dammers founded Dammers-Taubert-Systemflächen GmbH, or DTS for short, in 1995. At the same time, construction of the production facility in Möckern began.

Machine 1 :
After a year of construction, production of the Elesgo surfaces started in Möckern. Our first large EBC plant, machine 1, has been producing surfaces with a width of up to 1,450 mm since 1996.

Doors & Frames :
In 1998 surfaces for doors and frames were developed and successfully launched on the market.

Furniture Surfaces :
To ensure that the furniture also matches the new Elesgo doors, the first surfaces for furniture were available as early as 1999.
1999
High Gloss & Window Sill :
The new millennium started with a global innovation in our production - the first high-gloss and highly scratch-resistant laminate floor surfaces were produced. In addition, our product portfolio has been expanded to include surfaces for window sills.

Machine 2 :
With the multitude of innovations and product extensions, the production capacity was expanded in 2002 - and machine 2 was put into operation. Now it was and is possible to produce surfaces with a width of up to 1,600 mm.

Countertops :
In addition to the optical and tactile properties of the Elesgo surfaces, the special durability and scratch resistance are also suitable for worktops. From 2005 onwards, the product portfolio had a further area of application.

Exterior Facades :
The research and development team had an additional area of application with the expansion of surfaces for exterior facades in 2008.

Customized Surfaces :
With the commissioning of the slitting and winding system, it was possible from 2007 to deliver customized rolls.

Machine 3 :
More and more satisfied buyers could be counted among the regular customer base. In order to meet the increasing demand, the Möckern site was expanded. Machine 3 was put into operation in 2008 and a fully automatic high-bay warehouse with over 5,000 pallet spaces was installed to optimize our warehouse management.

Laboratory Tables :
The further development of the technology brought about new, additional properties: for example resistance to chemicals. Thus, in 2009, the production of specific laboratory bench surfaces began.

Release Papers :
With the development of the release paper and structuring agent in 2013, the laminate industry was presented with a product that can be used multiple times in presses. A great alternative for cost-intensive press plates in a quick structure change.

Clean Touch :
The clean touch surface with its anti-fingerprint properties came onto the market in 2015 and revolutionized the world of surfaces.
2015
Peacock Collection :
With the Peacock Collection , the first own color collection was developed in 2017, which can now be used by every customer. This is already available from stock and in small quantities.

Machine 3.1 & Headquarters :
Machine 3 was optimized, rebuilt and expanded by an ESH unit over a period of two years. In 2018, the administration moved from Oberhausen to Wesel.
