I started out working with silver and turquoise in Albuquerque New Mexico in 1976 and have since moved on to working in Gold also. I could not find anybody that would teach me in Albuquerque, so I am self-taught. I also learned lapidary, and I now design and cut my own waxes I also cast both gold and silver, cut and inlay all of my own stones in my one-of-a-kind designs. The stone I love to cut is opal both Australian and Ethiopian it’s like Christmas when you start cutting opal. I have also started carving stone which is exciting. I am in my seventh decade a single female and patreon will help give me the freedom to do art instead of just cranking out jewelry to sell to support myself. I still have sketch books filled with ideas that I haven’t yet done if you choose, please come on the journey with me. I plan to explore the things that I’ve never done before, and we can do these together. I have over 950 videos on YouTube Teaching silversmithing, and lapidary. I teach live so that you can interact with me on YouTube. In our YouTube community we care for each other, solve the world problems, as sisters of the flame.
