Jessica Szohr is about to get shameless…

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Gossip Girl alum will join the cast for the upcoming eighth season of the Showtime dramedy, Shameless.

Szohr will play the part of Nessa, a tough, smart lesbian who develops a strong friendship with Fiona after moving into the apartment building that Fiona purchased.

Showtime has yet to announce a premiere date for season 8 of Shameless.
