EFFICIENT INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

Bizerba’s networked Smart Shelf solution offers efficient #inventorymanagement of shelves. From the back office, shelves can be managed, processes automated, and sales increased at the same time. This is accomplished with intelligent sensor technology through weighing sensors integrated into the shelf and an intelligent center of gravity algorithm. Every item removed from the shelf is recorded and analyzed to the nearest gram and centimeter.


AVOIDING OUT-OF-STOCK-SITUATIONS

Our Smart Shelf solutions monitors the shelf stocks automatically and in real time; a visual inspection by employees is no longer necessary. The system detects impending out-of-stock situations at an early stage and appropriate refilling measures can be initiated - such as automatic preheating of the oven and push notifications to the responsible employees via smartphone, headset, e-mail or other mean.


REDUCING FOOD WASTE

In addition, our solution has a significant contribution to #wastereduction. Thanks to needs-based, data-supported post-production and dynamic price adjustments and promos when stocks are too high, food waste can be prevented at an early stage.
