Although we’ve already done the Welsh 3000s we thought we would head to Snowdonia in Wales to recce the Snowdon Massif and Glyderau ranges in preparation for another traverse in June.
Starting from the car park at Pen y Pass we set off for Snowdon before heading to Garnedd Ugain and finally over Crib Goch to complete the Snowdon Massif range.
From there it’s a short run down the road to Nant Peris before turning right and heading up to the Glyderau. Mountains in this range are Elidir Fawr, Y Garn, Glyder Fawr, Glyder Fach and Tryfan. We made this route a circular by heading down the Miners Track from Bwlch Tryfan and back to the car park.
