Recent analyses, including Draghi (2024), have highlighted the importance of targeted industrial initiatives to help close Europe’s productivity gap. The rapidly evolving field of robotics offers a unique opportunity to propel the industry forward, with millions of jobs depending on its successful transformation.

To seize this opportunity, the Commission, working alongside Europe’s dynamic and innovative private sector, aims to deepen the integration between research excellence and industrial deployment, with a strong focus on end-users and SMEs.

This webinar explored how industry and other stakeholders can contribute to shaping priorities for Europe’s robotics and manufacturing ecosystems. It will start with robotics as a cross-sector technology and then zoom in on how robotics and AI-driven solutions can support advanced manufacturing.
