In the Hindu pantheon of Gods, Ganesh occupies a very special place - for his wisdom, foresight, knowledge, and sagacity. He is worshipped at the beginning of auspicious events to forestall mishaps.

The Bollywood legend Bappi Lahiri-ji composed this song in Mumbai, I sang it here in Boston.
