A chilling incident shocked Hyderabad on Friday night when a woman allegedly killed her husband before attempting suicide at KPHB Colony, Kukatpally. The couple, identified as Ramya Krishna and Ramakrishna, had been living together while struggling with mounting financial problems. According to reports, the couple decided to end their lives. In a tragic turn, Ramya slit her husband Ramakrishna’s throat with a knife, leading to his death within minutes. She then turned the knife on herself, slitting her own throat in an attempted suicide.

Locals, alerted by disturbances, rushed into the house and found the woman lying in a pool of blood in an unconscious state. They immediately shifted her to a nearby hospital, where she is currently undergoing treatment. Her condition is said to be critical.

Police have registered a case and launched a probe into the incident. Investigators are examining the couple’s financial troubles and personal background as part of the inquiry.
