Hello and welcome Duelists! I hope you enjoy this epic Gusto deck video where I showcase the return of the Gusto archetype with powerful new cards and a fantastic new skill! This is the best Gusto deck I’ve played to date, achieving an incredible 90% win rate in Platinum, and defeating strong meta decks like Speedroid and Elemental HERO in this video!

Gusto is finally good and this new support makes it both competitive and fun in today’s meta!

Gusto Vedir is an amazing new tuner and combo starter. When a face-up Gusto monster you control is destroyed by battle or sent to the GY, you can Special Summon Gusto Vedir from your hand. Then, when it’s Normal or Special Summoned, it can send a Gusto monster from your deck to the GY and Special Summon another Gusto monster from your hand. This enables fast Synchro plays and GY setup in one move!

Tailwind of Gusto is a powerful Equip Spell that protects a Gusto monster from being destroyed by your opponent’s card effects. It also has two once-per-turn effects from the GY: you can banish it and discard a WIND monster to search a Gusto Spell/Trap, and depending on the equipped monster’s level, you can Special Summon a Gusto monster from your Deck, or even a Level 1 tuner. A fantastic support card with both protection and extension!

Daigusto Laplampilica is a powerful new Synchro monster that, upon being Synchro Summoned, Special Summons 1 Gusto monster from your hand and 1 from your Deck, but their effects are negated and must immediately be used for another Synchro Summon of a Gusto monster. It locks you into WIND monsters for the rest of the turn, but your other Gusto Synchro monsters also become untargetable by your opponent’s card effects. A great play enabler and form of protection!

Daigusto Sphreez is your resilient boss monster. When Synchro Summoned, it lets you add a Gusto card from your GY to your hand. It cannot be destroyed by battle, and any battle damage involving your face-up Gusto monsters is reflected back to your opponent! This card alone can win games with its durability and passive damage control.

The new skill Ancestral Arts of Gusto ties everything together beautifully. It adds 3 Gusto monsters with different names to your Extra Deck at the start. You can reveal 1 Gusto monster in your hand to add up to 2 Gusto cards and/or WIND Tuners from your deck to your hand. If you control Daigusto Sphreez, or if your opponent activated an effect that turn, you can Special Summon 1 Gusto monster from your Deck face-down, and then change its battle position later. This makes the deck incredibly consistent, resilient, and great at playing through disruptions.

The deck also features a strong Synchro toolbox, including:

Hi-Speedroid Clear Wing Rider – A powerful board-clearer.
Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon – A great boss monster with monster effect negation.
Clear Wing Synchro Dragon – Perfect for dealing with high-level threats.
Clear Wing Fast Dragon – Disruption and battle manipulation.
Stellar Wind Wolfrayet – A high-ATK powerhouse that can clear the board.

Overall, this Gusto deck is fast as the speed or wind, resilient, and highly competitive in the current meta. With a 90% win rate in Platinum, it’s proof that Gusto is finally playable and strong in Duel Links.
