The Only Exception - Paramore (cover)

this was a MAJOR PAIN IN THE TUSHY to create so I hope you enjoy every goshdarn second of it.

Ok to be fair, the annoying part was trying to edit the video/audio together. The rest of it--specifically the mixing part--was very fun. This is my first stab at recording and mixing a cover in GarageBand instead of just taking a video on my phone and calling it a day. It was a fun challenge to come up with the arrangement, record all the tracks, painstakingly mix it, and then spend an inordinate amount of time listening to the bounces through every type of speaker I own. It did take way more time/effort than my usual YouTube covers, but 1) it was fun to flex my creativity by using a wider variety of instruments, 2) it's rewarding to hear a much cleaner finished product, and 3) I learned a lot just from the "trial and error" approach to working in GarageBand. Perhaps I shall make more of these??
