📜 How to Start: Read the "Invitation to the Memorial Derby" found on the table in Hierarch Square or travel directly to the Vegelbud Residence to speak with the Race Master. You must have completed the main quest "Get Junior" to unlock this event.
💰 Reward: * Per Race: ~160 Crowns and 25-50 XP. Items: Superior Racing Saddle (Race 1), Rugged Saddlebags (Race 2), Superior Cavalry Saddle (Race 3). Final Bonus (The Palio): If you win the underground race after the derby, you get 700 Crowns and Racing Horse Blinders.
🐛 Bugs:
-Quest Disappearing: The quest may vanish from your log if you start "A Matter of Life and Death." Fix: Fast travel to Novigrad and back to the estate; the quest usually reappears.
-The "Wait 3 Days" Stall: Sometimes, the prompt to move to the final race with Cleaver doesn't trigger. Fix: Ensure you read the letter immediately after the third race and go directly to Cleaver in Novigrad.
-Invisible Obstacles: In the Palio (night race), Roach may hit invisible hitboxes near the Tretogor Gate. Fix: Stay in the centre of the road as you approach the city walls to avoid the "barrier" glitch.
