This serves as a reminder of what true sprinters were capable of pre-update - and what they are capable of now. This with the lightest sprinter that I presently have.

This also serves to challenge the perspective held by some, on so-called community balance server, whom feel that a true sprinter is a bot that incorporates more than just sprinter legs and optional speed boost parts.

Lighter sprinters than the one I use today are certainly possible - but the amount of mobility one gets from sprinter legs merely rodded together is nothing to write home about either, perhaps in part due to being presently impossible to achieve the maximum agility of sprinter legs through just using sprinter legs alone because the moment you slap on a second leg you're already exceeding the weight necessary for maximum agility.

As you might have gathered from following this channel, I am not the biggest fan of Robocraft's so-called community balance server - but I do hope that with just a little pressure they'll be more inclined to do what's good for Robocraft and not what suits the whims of one person whom is unfortunately in the position of being a choke-point and pollutant pseudo-filter between the community and Freejam - resulting in highly questionable change proposals in the process.

Recently, a balance patch was released which basically made T3 sprinter legs even more garbage as a primary movement part than they even previously were.

You see, when a part is low on health - and a T3 sprinter leg is ridiculously low on health (70,000 health as compared to 115K for a T0 mech leg)) it greatly depends on its mobility to try and compensate for that situation.

Being not only slowed but agility-shafted results in a situation where true sprinters are placed deep into endangered territory. The result is more deaths than necessary - unless one is pocketed very solidly by a healer.

After plenty of disagreement that went nowhere, I built this pure sprinter bot to make a point that even with leg spam the leg will still let down the bot a disproportionate amount of times. These matches provide more data as regards the situation - and observers will appreciate that, aside from ensuring that the matches are not boring, there is no cherry-picking going on here.
