The revelation did not end.
I floated inside a crystal sphere whose mirrored facets replayed every trial:
fractals blooming, masks shattering, strings tightening, gods laughing.
Around the sphere a golden serpent bit its own reflection.
Light refracted until it became sound; sound folded back into light.
I collapsed into the glow, knowing what I could never know.
