This is a spicy, full-flavoured poitín made to an original family recipe, distilled using 100% Irish malted barley and a local botanical from Connemara known as bogbean.

Poitín also written as potcheen, poteen or potheen, is the traditional Irish distilled spirit that many may know of as illegal with an alcoholic strength sometimes ranging from 40 to 90% ABV.
