Today we´re in Cancun Mexico staying in a $100/night hotel and a $1,000 per night luxury resort.

To start, we´re spending a night at ALOFT by Marriott in the heart of the Cancun hotel zone and then we´re heading down the road to the Riviera Maya´s newest luxury resort, the Waldorf Astoria Cancun.

Can you have an enjoyable vacation staying at a cheap hotel? Or are you better off splurging on a luxury resort? Today, I´m trying to answer that question.
