When Alf has to try & servive Christmas on his state pension, he tries to con the local vicor into providing him with a Christmas hamper, by pretending it is for a lonely sick old lady that he knows.

When Alf is rumbled by Mrs Hollingbery, he is forced to enter the hamper into a raffle, but in classic Alf Garnett style, he puts his name on all the winning raffle tickets.
