PART SEVEN: Counter Steering, Slalom and Cornering | Turning at High Speed. In this video, Luke explains how to change directions and turn your automatic motorcycle at high speed with maximum control. Do you feel uncomfortable turning corners? Do you feel unbalanced when cornering? Do you feel you need to stick your knees, legs and feet out when turning on a motorcycle? Do you feel tense when turning? Well, this video will solve these problems. Luke will explain and demonstrate how to turn your scooter at high speed and shift direction like a pro!
Luke explains what to do with your hands, wrists, arms, elbows, shoulders, eyes, chin and head when turning your motor scooter. The key focus of this lesson is teaching the beginner how to control your Vespa's momentum by utilising the rider's upper body, the handlebars, the front wheel and the lean of the bike. Luke will teach you about the forces are work when turning a motorcycle - centrifugal forces, centripetal forces, friction, inertia and friction - the physics that a rider needs to understand to corner like a champion. The aim of this video is to help you keep your auto scooter under control when turning at low speed. Bike Control = Safety & Confidence
