VT vs VTI - Which Best Low-Cost ETF Should You Invest In? (Which One Is Right For You?). in this comparison video I will talk about VT vs VTI.

So, the main difference between them is the underlying index.
VT, which stands for Vanguard Total World Stock, is an ETF that tracks a market cap known as the FTSE Global All Cap Index that deals with more extensive, medium, and smaller stocks in the developed and developing markets globally. VT exposes you to international markets, enabling you to create a well-balanced portfolio to overcome storms when US markets fluctuate. Currently, the index is estimated at 9417 in at least 49 countries and is bound to change.
VTI, which stands for Vanguard Total Stock Market, is an ETF that tracks a market cap known as the CRSP US Total Market Index that deals with tremendous, bigger, smaller, and below-average stocks in US markets. Currently, the VTI index is at 4000 over 11 sectors.
Therefore, VT offers you more extensive geographical diversification in which to invest.

Historical Performance
VTI has been performing well over the years in the US markets. There have been increased returns for those who have invested in the US markets via VTI. For instance, in the last three years, VTI performance was rated at 18.34%, outperforming VT performance at 15.92%.
Therefore, VTI assures you of higher returns.

Cost
VT expense ratio is estimated at 0.08%, making it more expensive, considering VT covers a broader geography. On the other hand, VTI's expense ratio is currently at 0.03%. Note that the expense ratio is subject to change in the future.
Therefore, VTI is less costly.

But do they have any similarities?
Yes. VT and VTI have similar top holdings, including Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and Alphabet. They both have good liquidity because they are less costly ETFs when compared to others.

So, to sum up, which is better- VT or VTI?
I like VTI's track record in performance as it assures me of higher returns on my investment. VT's larger geographical market is ideal for me to invest my funds and get exposed to diverse markets globally. However, I chose VTI as my overall winner due to its low cost-expense ratio and outstanding performance in the market compared to global markets.
