In this video I change the PCV valve and PCV tube on a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix with the 3.8L V6 (GM 3800 series III). I bought a new MAP sensor/PCV valve cap as well. Two reasons for that: 1) so I could get the O-rings I needed, and 2) in case the old one broke during the process.
I used a dab of petroleum jelly on o-rings for installation.
Cost, including $6 shipping from RockAuto (not a sponsor) of original GM parts was $25.
